Well the day has finally arrived! After many months toiling over this website (and many delays) today I start publishing under the new WordPress format! I have already completed the HTML code which I now just cut-and-paste into the WordPress interface, give it a title, tweak a few settings, click publish and shazzam, it’s done 🙂
Changes made:
- Many of the lessons/theory lessons have been rewritten with improved grammar and readability
- As much as I can, I have removed any repetitive content
- All images have been enlarged to fit in with the new layout
- Many images have been improved and made easier to read and understand
- I have included a PDF version of several charts so you can download and/or print
- Flash apps like the guitar tuner, metronome etc are now able to be downloaded and used on your PC (free)
- Improved help charts
- Much larger music directory (ongoing)
- Dynamic category listings sorted by date
- Many other minor improvements
Now while I am in the middle of publishing all the chords, scales, lessons etc, I have to also put up the new navigation menu. This means not all of the links will have pages depending on when (during the publishing process) you visited the new site, so please be patient as I complete it, as things will be mixed up with new and old websites for a few days.
I better get to work, so it’s time to boogie 🙂
