Dorian mode is a seven note scale with a numeric formula of 1-2-♭3-4-5-6-♭7-8/1 and is the second of seven modes from the Ionian/Major scale. Dorian mode has a minor tonality and is essentially a natural minor scale with a major sixth interval.
