B open chords


Notes:

  • Technically there are no B open chords! most of the chords below are barred. I have included them in this open chord tutorial as you are bound to come across a B or B♭ chord and will therefore need to learn these voicings. You can of course skip these chords but I highly recommend you learn them.
  • The B major voicing (the first chord) that uses your 3rd finger to barre three strings can also be played using your 4th finger. I personally use either finger depending on the situation.
